Professional Skills
In addition to
studying both
the theoretical and practical aspects of the field of public
administration,
the program at SFSU also provided instruction in directly applicable
professional skills that can be applied in the field.
Our course work in areas such as budgeting,
research and analysis, human resources and organizational behavior all
required
that learn and apply principles, techniques and skills to real-life
situations
from our work environments. Below is a
copy of a research design proposal I developed and carried out, and a
job
description I developed using the “results-oriented” approach that has
been increasingly put forth as a more effective model in HRM.
