BECA MA Graduate Program

• The National Communication Association will be meeting in San Diego November 21-24. Since you can drive, this will be a low cost opportunity to go to a major national conference. If you wish to go, you must join NCA and submit conference registration fees by October 1.
• The International Communication Association will be meeting in Chicago May 21-25, 2009. Paper submissions are due November 3. Download the conference information.
• The deadline for all Culminating Experience paperwork is December 12, if you plan to graduate in the Fall 2008 semester.
• Looking for a place to leave your things? The lockers outside the Graduate Lounge (CA 19) are available for graduate students. Please go to the BECA office for information about reserving one.
• Check out the BECA Digital Lounge, the place where BECA grad students and alum "do their thing"!

Current Students

• September 26 — Application for Award of Degree/Graduation Form due for Fall 2008 graduation
• October 1 — Graduate Approved Program form due to graduate coordinator for Fall 2008 graduation. You must attach a copy of your transcript
• October 1 — Registration deadline for NCA conference in San Diego.
• October 10 — Deadline for Broadcast Education Association scholarship materials. (Requires support letters from faculty)
• November 3 — Culminating Experience Proposal form due for enrollment in culminating experience course in Spring 2009
• December 12 — Culminating Experience requirements must be completed for Fall 2008 graduation
