Personally, I've been playing hockey for about four years, starting
with the once-powerful Seahammers from Seattle and Bellingham. I
was torn away from the
Seattle
team, who at the time had been National Champs four times, by my boss who
actually gave me a job and wanted me to move to San Francisco for it.
Why not, eh?
Club
Puck is my underwater hockey home now, although some other players
from places where I used to play think it should not be. The nickname
for Club Puck is "the Borg". and for you non-trekkies out there,
the Borg are a race which sucks up all other species and converts thenm
to their own race. Club Puck seems to have done this with hockey
players from around the country and is now the powerhouse in underwater
hockey for the USA.
After
playing hockey for some time, I got selected for the USA National Team
to play in the World
Championships in June of 1998. The USA wound up in 6th place
out of about 17 teams from all over the world. France ended up taking
first place, followeed by South Africa and the defending champs, Australia.

Puck page and go from there or visit Octopush
Central (Octopush is what underwater hockey is called in the UK).
