Membership Requirements

Membership in the Accounting Students' Organization is open to all SFSU students who have an interest in the Accounting industry and have an overall GPA of 2.5 or above. Membership dues are $35 per semester or $60 annually.

Members in Good Standing category MUST attend:

•    At least 2 workshops/ presentations
•    Members' Day
•    Meet The Firms
•    Alumni Night (Additional Cost)
•    Election Night
•    Picnic
•    Maintain the minimum of 100 points
•    One Volunteer Event

Membership is divided into 2 categories: Members in Good Standing and Golden Members. Members in Good Standing demonstrate a willingness to participate in the club and are thus recognzied at the Banquet. All members who wish to become officers MUST be a Member in Good Standing. Members who rise above and beyond the requirements of being a Member in Good Standing shall be recognized as Golden Members and be recognized at the Banquet. Those wishing to become Golden Members will need a minimum of 175 points.
