The Problem:
It is legal for individuals and government to invade the privacy of others
through the use of video surveillance, yet it is illegal for an individual
to take effective counter-measures against such surveillance. This
is no good. Effective technology is available to combat both the
legal and illegal use of surveillance cameras, however it is not legal
to use in the United States. It is possible though to build devices
which are capable of jamming video frequencies and they're also available
for purchase outside of the United States. My goal is to create such
a tool for use in counter-surveillance against unwanted video surveillance
and create a body of photographic work around this.
