For my first interview I met up with a
musician named Anton that I always see playing on Telegraph street in
Berkeley. I approached
him and asked him if I could ask him a few questions about my proposal.
He
asked for a donation (who would of thought), so I gave him a buck and
proceeded
with the interview.
Chad: How long have you been performing/entertaining?
Anton:
I have been playing for over twenty years off and on. It really depends
on how much time I have on my hands which lately has been alot.
Chad: What instruments do you play?
Anton: I play a little bit of everything
including guitar, bass, drums, fiddle and trumpet. My instrument of
choice is the guitar and violin but guitar is what I am usually playing
when I am in public. It seems to be the most crowd pleasing instrument,
in other words the most productive money wise.
Chad: Does my proposal sound interesting?
Anton: Yes it does sound interesting. It
sounds like it would attract a crowd which is definitley what I am
trying to accomplish. I am always interested in trying something new.
The real issue for me would be the price. Maybe you give me one for
testing purposes.
Chad: I haven't really thought about the
price too much. Luckily we are supplied with an endless amount of cash
for this project. So in all would you say this is something you would
use?
Anton: Yes this is something I would use,
or at least try out. I like
the idea of being able to play this along with other instruments such
as drums or even
a bass guitar. The main thing for me would be the crowd factor. Peolple
are
always interested in something new.
