Our "Sound" communication experiment involved |2| bike horns with two distinctive frequncies, lower and higher. We made our own encoding system out of black and blue dots, each dot for each horn. The system was eficient, but, also, a bit slow. The same encoding system could have been used with two distintictive colors in order to make it visual.
