Lateral Condyle of the Femur

Knee

The lateral condyle of the femur is the bony landmark typically marked to approximate the joint center of the knee when motion analysis software, such as KA is used. Though you will not be using KA, you will be using this landmark to help you locate the joint center of the knee. Place a marker on the side of the lateral condyle.
