This year, our small groups have become the focus of AACF here at SFSU. Utilizing the Cell-Celebration model of organization, we hope to create smaller, more manageable, and personalized communities where we can share Gods word and build strong relationships. These "Cell" groups are our focus instead of the normally emphasized large groups and meet weekly, except for one week out of the month where all the cell groups come together for a big, bad, awesome, celebration.

Call it what you want, a small group, a cell group, a little group, a tiny group, whatever...What you have is a more manageable mass of individuals which create their own culture and inherently its own community personality. Which one will you be a part of? Currently, we have three groups which meet throughout the week...

• Jackies Group - A blurb from Jackie... "Bring a Bible for some good old-fashioned Bible study where we will be digging into God's Word!! We will be starting out in the book of Acts to read about the 12 disciples' (yes, 12!! but not including Judas) journey following Christ's death and resurrection.   Jackie's group will be meeting at the Stonestown Galleria Food Court on Tuesdays at 6pm. The Stonestown mall is located right next to SF State on 19th Avenue.

• Arnies Group - A blurb from Arnie... "My group will be going through the Starting Point program. Whether you are just looking to find out more about Christianity or if you been a Christian for many years you will enjoy our time of fellowship and discussion as we discover our place in the Big Story of God by exploring the story behind the story, the Bible. Our group is a safe place for people to explore their faith in God and experience community. We will be exploring such topics as Scripture, Creation, Brokenness, Promise, Law, Rebellion, Grace, Spirit and Eternity.

• Adrians Group - A blurb from Adrian..."Tired of the same old bible study? Want something refreshing? Want something stimulating? Well, I cant guarantee any of that, but I can try. Id like for my group to explore the different ways of living in christian community by going through a book called 'Life Together' by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and the totally inverted way of leadership taught by jesus by going through a book by Henry Nouwen called 'In the name of Jesus.' I dont guarantee a paradigm shift, or valuable lessons learned, but you will get free books. See you there!
