to the homepage of Asian American Christian Fellowship at San
Francisco State University. Asian American Christian Fellowship
(AACF) is a campus ministry of Japanese
Evangelical Missionary Society (JEMS), a non-denominational
Christian ministry. AACF began in the Fall of 1973 at Cal State
Los Angeles as the JEMS Campus Bible Study. From a small beginning,
this ministry has grown to involve several thousand students
on a number of strategic campuses.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Funnel Month - We will be meeting in cell-ebration starting August 27th - September 24th in Rosa Parks A @ 7:15pm in the Casesar Chavez Student Center. After Sept 24th, we will commence cell-cellebration in full force!!! Come see what we hope to successfully embark upon this year, and see how you can get involved and shape the course of AACF history at SFSU. Time to make a difference, so come! Hope you all had a great summer, and welcome back to School!
Norcal AACF Leadership Breakfast - Come out for refreshment, come out for fun! But if anything just come out! Youll get a chance to meet and mingle with the other leaders from the norcal AACF campuses and be refreshed and rejuvenated! At the San Lorenzo Japanese Christian Church (615 Lewelling Blvd. San Leandro) on Saturday, Sept 13 from 9:30am-12pm. Contact Arnie for more information.
Dodgeball! - Pathway Community Church's youth group is having its 3rd Annual Dodgeball Tournament to raise funds for kids in Africa effected by AIDS. It's on Saturday, September 20 at Creekside Middle School in Castro Valley. The tournament starts at 9:00 AM (registration starts at 8:30) till around 4. It's a 6-on-6 tournament (plus subs) and your registration fee includes lunch, an awesome t-shirt, and 3 guaranteed matches!!! Early registration is $25, and late is $35. Tabling - Official tabling begins the first week of school starting August 26th! We will be tabling every day frommonday-friday 12pm-2pm in front of Ceasar Chavez! We need support and hands to help flyer, table, and tell others about AACF! Come!!!
BBQ in Golden Gate Park - Sepember 20th. Missed our first BBQ? Come to this one? Recreational games, activities, and just plain fun! Bring a buddy, find a buddy, whatever...just come hang out with us! Let us know if you need a ride, or meet us at 11am at 750 Font in the culdesac next to the Village at Centennial Square.
