Update - Events next month

While the CLSA is sorting out our funding situation, we won't have any new events in October. However, you can look forward to the following in November. Our dates are set, but the details will be updated as rooms are secured, speakers are determined, etc.

Wednesday, November 1 - Portals Call for Papers

Portals, the CLSA's online literary journal will begin accepting papers for our 2006-2007 publication. More info to come.

Friday, November 3rd - CLSA mini-Symposium Night

Here's your chance to get together in a casual and open atmosphere to present on or just discuss with peers any research topics, upcoming presentations and paper submissions on which you've been working. Food & beverages will be provided and the location is still TBD.

Wednesday, November 15 - CLSA Presentation Workshop-Panel

This is a panel that is not to be missed! A group of seasoned professionals (aka SFSU professors with lots of presentations under their belts) and one seasoned-student presenter will field questions and share their experience about submitting proposals, presenting papers and traveling to conferences in general. This event was very popular and helpful last year, and we'll post our presenters, location and other details as the date approaches.
