If your 2012 household income was less than
$51,000, you can get free tax help at SFSU VITA.
We will be located at SCI205 (Science building)
and we will start operations on February
4th, 2013 (Monday) until April 15th, 2013 (Monday).
Our IRS certified tax preparers will help you get
the refund you deserve. Please be advised
that there are certain things you will need to
bring to the site in order for VITA volunteers to
be able to prepare your tax return.
Taxpayers, bring your:
- Photo ID for each
person on your tax return
- Social Security or ITIN card for
each person on your tax return
- W-2 forms for all jobs held in 2012
- All 1099s, 1098 and any other tax forms
- Voided check or bank account & routing
number if you prefer direct deposit
- Last year's tax return.
- Childcare provider information: total
expenses paid for child/day care, Tax ID #
(if any)
- Landlord’s name, address, and phone
number for CA renter’s credit (if any)
Please also bring your passport if
you are international students.
