ETC Computer Lab
The English Tutoring Center Computer Lab houses 15 MACs and 15 PCs that
are fully equipped with Floppy, CD and Zip Drives. The Computers contain
the following software and Plug-ins:
Microsoft Office 2000
Inspiration 6
WS FTP
Acrobat (Reader only)
Internet Explorer
Netscape Navigator
Windows Media Player
Who can Use the Lab?
The Computer Lab is open to all SFSU students and faculty from all areas
of study.
Lab Policies
Printing
Printing at the ETC Computer Lab requires your SFSU Student ID Card.
The cost for printing is $.10 per page and money can be added to your
card at the following locations:
-Library
-Student Services Bldg.
-Vogue Graphics Café, Centennial Village
Instructions for printing are clearly posted in the lab.
WARNING! Our Printer often has problems trying to print PDF Files.
No refunds will be given for erroneous printing.
Procedure for reserving computers (for Tutors/Instructors)
If you are an Instructor of English, Composition and ESL, you may reserve
our computer lab. For more information, please contact an ETC coordinator
through phone or e-mail approximately
24-hours in advance.

The ETC Library is an extensive collection of books mostly useful to
tutors, tutees, instructors and students in the various fields of English.
Our books mostly fall under the following categories:

The Library is open to all SFSU staff, faculty, students and all tutors
of the ETC. The procedure for checking-out and returning books is clearly
explained on our library bulletin board.

through phone, e-mail or snail-mail. We will be grateful for your donation!

ETC Lesson Plan/ Graduate Thesis Library
Spring 2003 Hours:
M-F 9:30am-4:30pm
The ETC has a Lesson Plan/Graduate Thesis Library located inside the
main office. The lesson plan collections are written by graduate students
from past English 705 and 716 courses. We also have a collection of
thesis research projects from past MA Composition students. To check
out any of these materials for a maximum three-hour time period, please
speak with an ETC staff member. The following is a database of all materials
available in this library.
