The Solar Academy program was developed to provide personal development in management and leadership skills. With the hectic pace of education and work these days, such skills are often not acquired in the normal course of school or work. The Solar
Academy's summer sessions, inspired by summer sessions at
both NASA and the International Space University, further
this purpose by spending some of the relatively quiet and
reflective time of summer on projects that may be
challenging and cutting-edge but which require considerable
perspective and thought. |
